!empty

The !empty command is used to clear the entire music queue in Dollar. This command is helpful when you want to remove all the songs in the current queue and start fresh, whether you're done with the current playlist or simply want to reset the queue.

Purpose

  • The main purpose of the !empty command is to clear all the songs in the queue, ensuring that the bot no longer plays any songs from the existing list.
  • This is especially useful if you’ve added a large number of songs to the queue and want to start over or reset the playback.

How It Works

When you issue the !empty command, Dollar will immediately clear the entire queue, stopping any pending songs from being played. It will also reset the current playback, if any, and prepare for new song additions.

Usage

!empty

If you have a queue with multiple songs and you no longer want any of them to play, you can type !empty. After executing the command, all songs will be removed from the queue, and the bot will no longer play anything until new songs are added.

Important Notes

  • This command does not affect the currently playing song. If a song is playing when !empty is called, it will continue to play until the song finishes. However, after the song ends, the queue will be empty, and no new song will be played unless added.
  • Dollar will confirm that the queue has been cleared, so you’ll know that the command was successfully executed.

The !empty command is a quick and efficient way to clear your queue and reset the bot’s playback, making it an essential tool for managing your music experience.
